SHIRT is a limited series of jesmonite coasters.
Reminiscent of a shirt collar, the SHIRT collection comes in 3 different colours and textures. Beyond its minimal aspect, the design refers to an everyday object, easily recognizable, and its simple palette of colours and texture make it tactile and playful.
SHIRTs geometry is taken from a collection of 100 symbols that explore the formal potential of a cube in isometry for project N°04 when deconstructed and reconstructed offers and collection of forms.
This cube, deconstructed and then reconstructed, offers a collection of forms borrowed from structure, architecture and everyday objects. Together they create a geometric, refined alphabet. Through this project N°04, an invitation is made to question what we know and have within us as certainties, starting with our understanding of a seemingly simple form, a cube.
The project is the result of a collaboration between Yannick MARTIN & Daniel SALISBURY.
